Taylor Swift responds to haters with new single ‘Shake It Off’

“I go on too many dates, but I can’t make them stay, that’s what people say”.
WHAT?! Why would anybody say that Tay-Tay?

Taylor Swift shocked the music world this morning after dropping not only the title and release date of her fifth album, 1989, but going one step further and even releasing the first single AND video.

Entitled ‘Shake It Off’ and completely opposing her country roots, the pop track is basically T-Swizzle’s response to all the haters of her and her lovelife. Featuring everything from horns and cheerleaders, to tutus and questionable dance moves, I can’t help but admit that it’s damn catchy. However some fans have voiced their disappointment towards Swift after she admits that this is her ‘first official pop album’, arguing the track doesn’t appeal to her true country fans that made her a superstar in the first place. Poor Taylor just can’t catch a break!

1989 is set for release on October 27th, but in the mean time you can enjoy getting this one stuck in your head…
