British brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, the powerhouse behind house music phenomenon Disclosure, have released the fourth single off their upcoming debut album Settle. ‘When A Fire Starts To Burn’ maintains a steady house vibe however, the thumping beat creates a stronger bass component that diversifies from the typical Disclosure sound. The looped vocals also contribute to the track being ‘heavier’ than expected, as they differ from the smooth and generally high octave vocals I’d expect. In saying that, it’s a great dance track, with a catchy rhythm that definitely appeals to the masses.
I’m holding out for the album release on May 31st but until then, have a listen to ‘When A Fire Starts To Burn’ below.
